I just got back from a successful trip to Ketchikan and Petersburg. I love SE and it was my pleasure to be asked to come down to conduct CE classes on site. I always enjoy seeing the participants and interacting with them. The folks who live in remote areas of Alaska often have only two choices to get their continuing education: 1) take classes on the internet or 2) fly out and take live classes in Anchorage or somewhere in the lower 48. By bringing me to the agency to conduct classes, the staff get an opportunity to interact with me and ask questions. We can also discuss specific claims or situations because it all stays in-house. This is very beneficial for many staff members.
I offer this service in Anchorage as well. Several agencies have brought me in to do an in-house ethics class or to do a seminar for their clients/staff. If you are interested in having me come to you, all you have to do is let me know and we can talk about subject matter, dates, costs and all that jazz. I want to send a great big THANK YOU to the owners of Davies-Barry insurance agency in Ketchikan and Petersburg-Wrangell insurance in Petersburg for inviting me to come on-site to conduct classes for their staff.
